Mission
The mission of the media department at Quinebaug valley Community College is to provide the instructional technology and guidance necessary to meet the needs of our learning community. The Media department does not provide productions services for classes or events - only the equipment to support such events.
Media Equipment in Classrooms
Almost all classroom at the college have an overhead projector and screen permanently installed. Most classrooms also have a TV and VCR or VCR/DVD combo. A few classrooms also have LCD projectors permanently installed. Use the following link to check on the equipment available in a particular room or contact the Media department.
Media Equipment for Classroom Loan
The Media department also maintains a diverse range of equipment for classroom loan including laptop/LCD projector combinations. To request a particular piece of equipment for you classroom fill out a Media request form available at the QV library or online. Requested equipment will be made available in the library before class. Please submit you requests at least 24 hours in advance.
