Role & Responsibility of Marketing
College Identity
Marketing & Public Relations reinforces the identity of the college through the messages delivered in all publications, communications and both external and internal advertising. It is important for the college identity to be upheld through the use the approved college logo. The use of special logos or individualized logos is not supported. It is the goal of marketing to assist you in the creation of eye catching materials by using colors, fonts, & graphics that meet the college guideline.
Role
• To consistently relay the purpose of the college to community.
• To maintain a positive image to the public in northeast Connecticut by producing effective materials.
• To keep the communities served by the college informed of events, academics and public services.
Responsibilities
• Make the public aware of college services through effective marketing materials.
• To assist all internal areas of the college with their marketing and communication needs.
• Develop plans for effective communication and promotions of all credit and noncredit programs.
• Assist with the college goals of increasing enrollment through targeted efforts.
