•Re-Entry Meetings
Collaborative efforts between numerous pre release program and post release programs to ensure adequate support upon release. Meets quarterly at different sites throughout the Connecticut community.

•Federal Bonding
Secure 25 bonds through the McLaughlin Group in Washington. Each bond is worth $5000 and is designed to assist with hard to place employees who may have felony charges such as theft, larceny and embezzlement. The bonds put employers mind at ease knowing they are taking a risk, but will be compensated if something were to happen.

•MERIT SCHOLARSHIP
The STRIDE Merit Scholarship Award is given to STRIDE participants who have demonstrated an earnest desire and commitment to furthering their careers, employability and job skills and have met the stated criteria.The foundation hold all the money for this scholarship.

STRIDE Merit Scholarship Award Criteria
A STRIDE graduate: (earned a STRIDE certificate)
Out of prison for at least 6 months
Working Full or Part-Time for at least 90 days
Living at home for a period of at least 3 months
Reunited, or working to reunite with their families ( children )
Motivated, and committed to development of professional skills and values.

Details
The maximum Merit Scholarship Award will be $250.00
The Merit Scholarship Award can be used at any of the twelve Connecticut Community Colleges or selected Private industry

The mission of Dress for Success is to advance low-income women's economic and social development and to encourage self-sufficiency through career development and
employment retention. Dress for Success responds to the needs of our communities by providing programs that help economically disadvantaged women acquire jobs, retain their new positions and succeed in the mainstream workplace. Dress for Success opened its doors in Mid-Fairfield County in June 1998, and is currently helping women in more than 75
communities, including 10 international cities.
