Weather Closings
Winter can bring inclement weather and the possibility of class cancellations. Students and teaching staff must be aware that the College does not have the same operating schedule as local school systems. Students are advised to anticipate college closing with prior arrangement for child care or transportation. The College should not be called concerning the possibility of classes being canceled. Office personnel do not make any decisions concerning class cancellations.

Cancellations and delayed openings always apply equally to both the Willimantic and the Danielson campuses.
In the event of a delayed opening, classes that are scheduled to start before the announced opening time will NOT meet with the following exception - when the delayed opening comes in the middle of a three hour class the class will meet for the second hour and a half. For example, if there is a 10:00 delayed opening a three hour class meeting normally from 9:00-12:00 will meet for an hour and a half starting at 10:30.
In the event of an approaching evening storm cancellations will be posted to the college website and announced over radio by @4:30.
All Community and Professional Learning classes, including those associated with Kids Academy, Learning in Retirement and Supervisory Development, follow the same closing procedures as the college. If the college is closed during your scheduled class, please contact CPL at 412-7301 for make-up instructions.
