Parking Regulations

Parking at the Danielson campus is available to all students, staff, and visitors when the College is officially open. There is sufficient parking to accommodate the needs of the Danielson campus and includes both reserved motorcycle and handicapped parking.

A parking permit is not required to park at the Danielson campus. Availability is on a first-come, first served basis. However, anyone parking in a reserved handicapped space must display a permit.

Parking is permitted only in legal, designated parking spaces. Vehicles discovered to be parked illegally, in a handicapped or motorcycle space, or blocking a fire access lane may be towed at the owner’s expense.

Bus Transportation

Busses for Middle College High School students will transit campus during the academic year at roughly 7:30 am and 2:15 pm. Motorists are required to provide first priority to bus traffic and obey blinking red lights indicating a loading process is underway.

Children and Pets

Children and pets should not be left in vehicles in our parking areas. Discovery of children or a pet in a vehicle will be reported to the State Police for action.

Disabled Vehicles

It is the responsibility of the owner of a disabled vehicle to have it removed from campus. Disabled vehicles discovered to be left on campus for more than (7) seven business days will be reported to the State Police as “abandoned” and may be towed at the owner’s expense.

Emergency Blue Phone

An emergency blue phone is located in the northwest parking lot. It can be used to report any type of emergency to the State Police dispatcher or to request emergency assistance. The blue phone is activated by pushing the button; 911 will automatically be dialed.

Safety Tips

  1. Roll up the windows and lock the doors.
  2. Keep valuables out of sight, preferably locked in the trunk.
  3. Park and walk in well-traveled, well-lit areas.
  4. Walk to your cars in groups.
  5. Wait for your ride inside the building, in the outer lobby vestibules.
  6. If you cannot find someone to walk you to your car, then call our non-emergency pager number (412-7365) to request an escort. Provide your name and location in the building, so our security guard can easily locate you and provide an escort. A security guard is on-site Monday through Thursdays from 5:30 pm to 9:30 pm and on Saturdays from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Speed Limit

The speed limit on campus, from the main entrance and throughout our parking areas and roads, is posted at 20 mph. For the safety of our campus community, please abide by the speed limit and all traffic signs.
