Credit Programs
QVCC prides itself on offering academic programs of high quality. An associate's degree represents college-level work requiring between 60 and 68 hours of credit, while our shorter certificate programs range from 6 to 30 hours of credit. Credits from certificate programs can often be applied to a degree program.

High School to College
For younger students, there is the High School Partnership program for students to enroll in credit courses, as well as the College Career Pathways program that enables students to earn college credits while still in high school. In addition, EASTCONN operates the Quinebaug Middle College, a regional magnet high school, on the Danielson campus.

Non-Credit Programs
The Center for Community & Professional Learning (CPL) offers a range of credit-free courses, career and skills training, and customized business training. The college has an active Learning in Retirement program for seniors and also sponsors the STRIDE program, a re-entry workforce development program for incarcerated individuals.
